Leather replacement

Another alternative is to have the leather on your steering wheel replaced. An outfit called Alan Gun Leather Accessories specializes in doing this. You can either send your steering wheel in and have them do it (about $200 through ebay or via AGLUSA.com) or buy a kit and do it yourself. If you want them to do it they will provide you with a loaner. I spoke to Mr. Gun directly and he was very friendly and helpful. I am going to try to replace my leather on my '96 C280 myself. If I cannot do it myself, I can still send the steering wheel in to AGLA and they will apply my kti purchase towards the cost of them doing it for me.
