Agreed, you do not need a dial indicater to do bearings. The preload is important to do. And. do not let a shop tell you the wheel bearing need to be "broken in".

Also, while replacing the motor mounts, take a look at the engine shocks as well. I found the rubber bushings under the shocks missing.
