tire is not rubbing is it?
Take a look at the tranny mount, is it collapsed?
You mentioned you had the tranny redone. It is imperative to remount drive shaft in exact posistion left to right, front to back, keeps things balanced properly.
does not sound like a bearing to me, however if the noise does go away when you pop it into neutral then it could be drive shaft related. Flex discs ususally squeel or chirp if bad. Have you checked linkages from tranny upward for loose fittings?
