My tech and I were talking about my 300E. He has helped do a few superchargers on MBs in the past at other shops, and has done a few engine conversions (Most recent a 5.0 Mustang into a Volvo wagon). He discouraged me from a turbo because he personally doesn't like the heat produced, and won't do them in his shop on MBs. He will do a supercharger for me if I find the components. He said this is just his personal experience in the (distant) past, and that others seem to do OK with turbos, but he won't. Just one opinion for your consideration. Good luck on your power quest
