I'm with National City right now, but recently my account was overdrawn and I got a letter days after the fact... after fees had been piling up quite a bit. Then in the whole getting it sorted out they weren't the most helpful. I am thinking of switching to NetBank, and never actually walk into a bank (mail in checks to deposit, email and online bank), or Chase bank because they're close to where I live. However I do have three books of checks on this account, so I don't want to rush on to another "evil" bank. Where have you all liked? Is there anywhere that will guarantee you a phone call before you lose any money?
I have no plans to ever allow this to happen again (forgot to write down one check and overdrew it by abouy $5
), but would like somewhere that would call me instead of sending a snail mail letter saying "we've been charging you $10 a day because your in the negative." So, to make more money, we've decided to choose the slowest method of letting you know this, even though we know your phone number and email address, and everything else about you in case we need to come after you. :fork_off:
