Don't you find it odd that the article in MM's post says that Kerry claims that he botched the joke but doesn't give the text of the joke Kerry says he intended to tell? What kind of half-a** reporting is that?

Kerry says that the joke was intended to slam W. Instead of, "...And if you don't, you get stuck in Iraq..." Kerry says that the punchline was supposed to say, "...And if you don't, you get us stuck in Iraq..." It's a lame joke, but it does not disparage the troops.

Why didn't the article quote Kerry's full explanation? McCain, Limbaugh, and the rest of them are the biggest bunch of phonies. They are pretending to be outraged by what Kerry said because it's a rare chance for them to score points this fall.
