Before you pay the ticket. Are there points involved? Can you get a court date and ask for advicement? All they want is the money. You just don't want the points.

Tell the judge that you were stressed with job worries, etc. He may throw out ticket and charge you courts cost which are usually the same as the original fine. No points given. Everybody happy.

Never argue the ticket! Make sure you say the the officer was kind and courtious, etc.

I'm sure that none of the above is untrue. Officers are courtious and we are all stressed.
