I have a 1991 300E with the grey leather interior. In this year there was only the basic adjustable armrest without the storage case.

Over the years the center armrest has taken on some significant wear. I have checked into renewing the center armrest -- but JEEZ it's several hundred dollars!

I'm thinking that it may be possible to simply renew the cover instead on the whole armrest.

Is this possible? Can the cover be taken off? Is there a replacement cover for the center armrest?
