Nevermind.
I found that the free loaner/rental from AutoZone works acceptably well on the M103 engine. The tool is junk, really, but for a 1-time free use I can't complain. Photos below. Not a fun job... took me a solid 3.5 hours and that was working as fast as possible. Worse yet, the old seals weren't old... they had been replaced in the past, and were the correct OE/dealer Viton seals. I don't know how old they are but they weren't hardened or crusty. Guess I'll have to wait and see if the new OE/dealer seals make any difference or not (was 500-600 miles per quart).
