You got a recipe for that pumpkin ravioli? That sounds good. We made some squash ravioli last week that we ate with filbert butter; the ravioli had onions and chopped up portabella in addition to the squash. It was pretty good. It was our first attempt at ravioli since getting the pasta maker for the Kitchen Aide.

I'm going to smoke a turkey. I was thinking of trying a chutney as well; I saw a recipe for a cranberry/pear chutney that looked good. We'll definitely make some sort of soup. I'll make some eggplant parm, too, becuase at least one vegeterian is coming. I will probably do that tonight and freeze it, actually.

Guests can bring the simple stuff like mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. I may have to make a pie but if a certain person who happens to be an expert pie maker comes, I'll let him take care of that.

And we will have very large quantities of egg nog and brandy.
