Am I the only US forum member who routinely makes Chip Butty's? I didn't know that is what they were called but I keep a saucepan in the frig filled with lard for cooking chips and I always have some white bread on hand to make the sandwich. Just salt, pepper and malt vinegar for me. I'll probably make one for lunch today.
Do other people regularly cook fresh chips at home?
