In my spare time I make and install 2 tank systems in these Benzes locally, (up here in canada). My own personal system is alittle differant than the other kits available on the internet and it is very simple.

I usually sell a kit installed for between 800 and $1000.

I use a mercedes fuel sender when running on veggie oil to tell the dash gauge the fuel level, I have a coolant heated tank in the trunk that is heated by a coil of stainless steel gas hose. I then run common 3/4 heater hose from then engine compartment along the fuel lines to the trunk compartment. The fuel filter is heated with a glow plug that cycles around 75-80 deg C, then the fuel passes through a selector valve and into the stock fuel system. The downside is longer changover times, the upside is redundant filters. Depending on availability I also use Fattywagons injector line heaters, I use a pollak 6 port unit to control fuel flow, and all the appropriate relays and fuses.

Before I sold my example kit in my car it ran excellent on Veggie oil filtered to 5 microns using mcmaster car PE filters.
