Thanks guys, good to know you have made me feel I did it right.

I did the pre-filter too but did buy the proper o-ring for it. I find it amazing still that they sell that filter without the o-ring! I have to believe this leads to so many problems for tech and DIYers that don't know it needs to be replaced.

Now I have to just drill out that %^$%%^%*& torx bolt I just stripped the head of on the shutoff valve. And it is one I just had out early last year when I last changed the o-ring!
