I just used a socket slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the hole in the pulley. I removed the clip with snap ring pliers. I hammered the old bearing out. I did not break the old bearing. Took some pretty good whacks but no big deal, really.

To install, I heated the pulley up to 400' and put the bearing in the freezer. Then I was able to lightly tap the new bearing into place and replace the snap ring.
