You can have a mechanic inspect them to see if they look collapsed.

Also, you can put the transmission into drive, and with the foot on the brake, press down on the accelerator slightly, and have someone look at the engine to see if it moves up.

Repeat this procedure again by putting the transmission into Reverse.

If it does move up, then either the front or back motor mount is bad.
