That 600 you recently acquired has more than one issue, the window rolling up and stopping has to do with either an obstruction or it needs to be re-synced, push the switch to the first dedent it should go up. I think the sync is to get it up and then rock the switch to position 2 and hold it for a few seconds. The safety is disabled when you use the remote!
You have two fuse boxes, one under the hood on drivers side, square cover, snap at front catch in back, the other is in the trunk, behind covered door. The close assist, cell tel, alarm, locks, and some others are there. The front box covers lights etc. The cigarettte lighter could be bad, people plugging things that draw too much. The MB lighter is different, so dont just PEP-Boys it, try one of the working ones. The glove box light could be burned out, your heater illumination is probably a bulb, if the other works. I dont know if those are "front" replaceable, but if you have to get to the switch the dash panel needs to come off (remove radio, remove screws in ash tray housing, lift shifter panel, screws in radio opening, recode radio, and install alarm lead). more work than "Bose" amp
