Review: Kumho 795 on W123

about 3 weeks ago, the danger of slipping around wet roads and dry interstate exchanges at not unsafe speeds got the better of me and i replaced the crappy general ameristars that came from the PO with some kumho 795 touring radials (195/70/14). i know three weeks isn't enough to tell about wear and such, but i was so excited i had to post a review. first, the ride is perfect. almost dead straight, not loud, comfortable. 3 of the tires took less than half an ounce to balance. the 4th took about 1.25.

i have driven in all conditions except snow and ice. they grip the rain very well considering what i had, but i do not push a car in the rain. dry roads have now become my playtoy. i can't even get them to squeal!

these tires are a joy to drive and if you are considering the kumho, just do it. tire rack has them for 38 bucks a tire. you can get them drop shipped for a decent price (30 bucks total for me).
