I just replaced one a few weeks ago. It is so much easier to take the 30 minutes and drop the transmission out. Pull the radiator and intake-you will have to do that to get the wiring disconnected. Remove it with the exhaust manifolds. It isn't that bad of a job, just watch what you are doing.
