Hello. I have a customer with a 1997 C280 that had a problem with the shifter alignment. I have adjuisted the shifter but found no change in recognizing/matching the gear shift selector with what the computer see from the tranny. I opened up the tranny and found the problem to be the little white plastic clip thats attached to the selector valve that slides inside of the valve body. Tried to source the part thru my dealer but they will only sell the complete valve body which means I will also have to change the computer to the new stlye. I just don't wan't to pay $1300 DOLLARS FOR A 10 CENT PLASTIC CLIP!! If anyone has a old valve body thats bad or good out of a electronic tranny please let me know ASAP!!
