The usual rule of thumb is replace rotors after every third pad change. Visual inspection of at least two vehicles I own, confirm this type of wear pattern.

Zimmerman is the rotor of choice. I'm opting for the slotted ones now for looks, since I've also painted the brake calipers.

The aftermarket rims expose a lot of hub internals now, so the painted calipers and slotted rotors really set things off!
