It is also possible the person doing the oil service could have knocked it off, saw it flopping around and went "oh crud" is his head, and in a mild fret had looked for the nearest port he could see and stuck it back on in the wrong place, not having a clue what it was. (You don't mention where the service was done) The shutoff is the metal diaphragm on the rear of the IP, the hose should not go to the metal one on top of the IP if you have one on yours. The brown shutoff hoses should go from the shutoff into the firewall where it goes to the ign switch, then should come back thru the firewall to the sourcing hose connections. The yellow line(s) is the door lock system.
