How about GM losing close to a billion on sub-prime mortgages? And you thought they could only loose money making cars, now GMAC, which used to be the only thing of value in GM, is seeing its shine come off too.
I always thought the only reason MB merged with Chrysler was to avoid being taken out themselves by someone bigger. If that is the case it worked to this point and they are best to shed Chrysler.
