Wish I could help here, but I replaced mine while we had the motor out of the car (timing chains, valve guides, water pump, etc.) With 95,000 miles, the harness was cracked and brittle. No adverse problems, Rather than risk it, we replaced the harness.

I add this only as there is a very remote possibility that the old harness is buried somewhere at the shop. I will be back in town next week and will begin a search for the beast.
