I've got to agree with fryerpowered regarding the Mustang. I've got nothing personal against Ford (I even worked for them as co-op while in college) but I'd take my 19-year-old Benz over a new Mustang any day.

I recently had the chance to drive a friend's '99 Mustang; it was adequate around town but once up to highway speeds it felt like it would shake apart! The first time he rode in the 240D with me, he actually made a comment about how solid it felt at 75 MPH.

As for uphill climbs.. I'm glad I live in Florida, where the biggest hills around are the highway overpasses!
