Winds...STRONG winds!
50 mph gusts or more. Portable basketball goal is lying on the ground. Takes around 50-60 mph gusts to do that.
Daughter played in an outdoor soccer scrimmage. What a waste! The game required a good grasp of wind physics as opposed to strategy! A few dads (including myself) lined one side of the field to retrieve errant balls. Dust created an eerie cloud cover that made the sunlight take on a light blue hue!
Drove home to see a utility pole on a major road snapped in half, but wires intact. Other expected sightings were airborne lawn furniture and flattened wood fencing.
At least temps are in the high 60's and power seems fine.
