The front is held on with two phillips head screws that are in the front, just below the offset in the front panel, about 6" off the floor. Remove the screws, grab the bottom sides of the panel and pull it toward you, allowing it to pivot at the top, under the top cover of the machine. When the front panel is angled at about 45° it should come free from the top.

Look inside the cabinet and tell me what you see.
