I've had very good service from Fastlane.

You must use either the OEM or viton, everything else leaks pretty quickly (and I've seen some rather creative stuff!). The new stuff is gray rather than black, it may have more resistance to biodiesel, although I've never had any trouble with the old stuff.

The rubber gets hard and glassy -- I've seen the so hard the snap if you push on them, but not leaking. Once they start to leak, they are shot -- trimming the end won't help, the rubber just splits as you push it on, if it doesn't break off instead.

Make sure you get all the old stuff off the nipples before you attempt to push a new line on -- a small bit stuck on there acts like a knife blade and will neatly slit the rubber!

Plan on changing it every three years or so, more often if you put lots of miles on the car.
