Got the 80 going again, this had to be not good...

Well, I got the parts I was waiting on yesterday afternoon and today reinstalled the cam and top parts on the 80, the cam did have that tiny ridge on the #1 intake lobe, nothing bad looking about the profile or anything, dial gauge said the lobe was within .001 of the others, so I just reinstalled the old one rather than wait on a new one. I did in my adventures come across a good find on #3 intake valve and rocker though, caught it in time before any further damage occurred. After test driving today it seems to still run the same, slightly better with repaired and adjusted valves (all were tight). Next is to get an adapter and run a compression test while I send the injectors out for testing. That little skippity miss at idle and certain rpm's just annoys me,lol.
