I have used one like that for years on all sorts of engines....however, I bought mine from K.D.Tools USA and it has hardened fingers....I modified mine slightly by removing the hand wheel and welding on a 13mm nut.

In the event the air line ruptures....turn the cylinder in question to TDC....this way the valve/s won't fall into the cylinder.

This will mean you have to hold up the chain while you rotate the motor.
I hang/support the cam chain sprocket from the cherry picker with a rubber bungy cord.

Always refit the towers with the lobes pointing away from the rocker arms or you'll pull the mounting threads in the head.

Do not start the engine for at least 30 minutes after fitting last tower, as hydraulic elements need to bleed down.

BTW....The #6 intake lobe ..........bad
