if the car has to be an 86 or older...I would personally go with the 124......handles better,more safety options...just a more modern car...and if you have to make repairs I think the 124 will serve you better...and because of the weight you will notice far lesser front end and tire issues....and the 124 is a joy to drive...probably a perfect balance between taunt handling and a smooth ride
