Greeting fellow Benz enthusiast!

While washing my side view mirror on my 2003 SLK230 , I applied too much pressure on the glass and seemed to broken the mechanism that moves the glass left & right. I can still go up & down.

Can someone explain how to properly dissassemble this so I can see what is required to repair it?

Hopefully I just popped something loose and didn't break any gears or linkage.
