To add an avatar, you need to create a picture of your car that is no bigger than 65 by 65 pixels, or 20,000 bytes, whichever is smaller. Then you go to 'user CP', 'Edit Options', 'Change Avatar'. You click 'yes' for the 'use custom avatar' option. Then you either enter the URL address or upload the file to the MercedesShop computer. This gives you a postage stamp sized pic of your car, or anything else you want to put there.

Or they have about 1000 premade avatars to choose from before you choose 'use custom avatar'.
