the aux fan only comes on if I short it out, will not run otherwise, with AC on or OFF, is there a way to check the other switches, and can the temp gauge sender have a part in this whole isue? THanks guys

Sure, just short the 2 wires at the dryer switch to see if the aux. fan operates like you did at the temp. switch.
