Finally got my new CD Changer for Christmas. Mother was feeling generous...well, guilty I guess for forcing me to help her Christmas shop.
The unit is a Sony 6 disk to go with the head unit. It ALMOST fits in the glove box, which is where I would like it.

Does anyone have experience modifying a 126 glovebox? It will mount from the top and the door close if I could trim the angle from the back of the glove box. Is there anything from behind on a 300SD that would prevent it from taking up about a 1/2 inch space? Otherwise I'm going to exchange for the 10 disk and put it in the trunk. I just thought the dashboard unit would be MUCH more convenient.
