Early in the baseball season this year, I was warming up with one of the kids on a cold day. We were doing it properly - short distance throws for awhile, gradually lengthening it. It was probably about mid-40's (and I'm in my mid-50's).
Since then, my elbow feels like it's burning, and I'm experiencing pain when I'm throwing. Some days I have minimal strength to lift objects.
I figured time will fix it, but I've had this condition since mid-March and it doesn't seem to be getting much better.
Is it tennis elbow or tendonitis? Will it get better on its own?
I'm taking vicodin for my hip but it doesn't seem to be helping the elbow.

It sounds like tennis elbow.
I had it and it hurt like a MOFO.
Depending on your condition it may get better over time, then again it may not.
Physical therapy may help, also wearing an elastic band around the arm, midway between the elbow and the wrist may also help.
For me taking a shot of cortisone in the elbow took care of it.
For more info read below. Good luck!
