I have a busted right strut mount on my 93 300SL and the shop is telling me that the labor to replace is $225. Is that high? Also should I replace the struts as well since there will not be a charge for that since the struts must be removed anyhow according to the shop. The car has 113,000 miles on it.
Also I had a stalling problem and the shop replaced the ignition control module ($1100+ price tag for the part) and now when I turn my ignition to the on position the lights on the dash will sometimes stay on (keep in mind I am not starting the car just turning the switch to the on position) and other times they go off. I notified my tech and he told me to bring it back in. Has anyone every experienced this.
