Red face Use the search option on your upper right corner

this has been discussed recently. However, if you need a water pump and other type of work and, you WILL keep the car for a while, the head job by itself should cost from $1200 to $1500 depending on your area. If you do everything you need at the same time your mechanic MAY give a break in the price for rest of the job.
BTW, your mechanic can replace the waterpump and change the timing chain, plastic rails "while in there" for minimal additional cost, if any.
Good luck!
