Thanks for the replies, B.C., would a similar "hook" affair welded strategically to undercarriage with rubber dougnuts attached to hooks welded onto new pipe work? The problem I'm trying to correct is the terrible shake I get at idle. Yesterday, I started the car after a couple of days of sitting. Started fine, smooth idle, got to a stop light, still smooth, then sitting there, the shakes, lopping what have you started. It seems to me to be a pressure build up somewhere. Just now reamed out fuel vent, did not seem to be enough resistance, and dirt fall out to be a clog of this magnitude. Only other thing I can think of, is exhaust back pressure. Seems okay with higher rpm. If I don't need to spend the $ on a custom exhaust, well, I'm money ahead. Can't come up with anything else.
