I have two problems with the dashboard on my yr 2000 E320 Station wagon:

1. One bulb is out lighting the center info unit that shows mileage etc.; how hard is this to get at?

2. Most impoortant, on the right, the indicator that shows the time and which gear is selected, is erratic, displaying "random" lines and omitting some. Which pixels are affected changes; last year the problem cleared up on its own during summer and returned in the wetter, colder times. This summer so far the probelm has not cleared. I have suspected a connector problem at one end or the other; can anyone tell me how these are located and gotten to?
