85 CD, I noticed my compressor belt had a parallel chunk about two inches long and just a 1/4 wide, missing leaving about a half a belt in thickness for that stretch. The belt looks new so I am a little worried it is rubbing??? It only looks like it is in one section of the belt.

My A/C worked last Sept/OCt when I bought the car, but now it does not blow cold when the outside temp is about like 70 or so....

I ordered the part... has anyone done this lately. I am out of town now, so don't have access to my Haynes manual, but after reading some posts, it looks like I have to loosen the tensioner pulley to reduce tension on the belt, then take off the PS belt, to get to the compressor belt. Any tips?
