I agree with stevo. The hydraulic line should be the same. The additional gear will probably not increase the top end much if any...unless you add power to the engine somehow.

A very nice swap. In this case, I suspect a ds from an automatic equipped car might be about the right length.

We are in the process of swapping a four speed manual into my 82 300cd right now and it appears that the ds from a 240 automatic front half will be the right length for it.
