There's not really an adjustment, but there's supposed to be a couple of seals above the window and it sounds like yours are missing.
First, there should be a seal on the frame of the soft top that acts as a seal around the window. Second, there should be a seal glued to the soft top itself, sealing it to the portion of the frame on top of the window. Maybe the top installer didn't finish the job?
