If you can get these made and reasonably priced, I would absolutely purchase a set. I've been thinking about what it would take to have a shop here make them, but I wasn't sure about how strong they would have to be - maybe a forging?
The adapters and screw jacks described in the 107 MB shop manual look absolutely safe, but are probably no longer made or four figures a set.
