S320 - 1995 - 75,000K The car has a creaking or slight grinding noise comming from front suspension usually when going under 30 mph. The dealer replaced the front stabilizer links and indicated that it solved the problem. However, I picked the car up after hours and it made the noise as soon as I rolled out of his lot. At home, I removed the wheels and inspected the front axle control arm bushings, the upper and lower ball joints and the struts and visually everything looks ok. Does anyone have any thoughts about what is causing the noise or how I can diagnose the problem. I can get it to creak if while stopped I slowly turn the steering wheel, however if the car is moving, the steering will not cause the noise. Anyway, the noise sounds awfull especially for such a nice car. Any thoughts?
