tobybul.....easier way would be to just pi-pette it out of the dipstick down tube with a clear plastic length of tubing that you can buy at any hardware store in the right diameter. It might take some time but it will be much neater and more precise that pulling the plug on the pan or pulling a cooler line......sometimes those coolers lines do not reseat properly after untightening and retightening them and then you have more of a problem....
Buy about 48" or more so you can apply some suction but still see the level in the tube and avoid getting a mouth full. Then dump each tube full into a container that is marked for a 1 quart volume which I believe is the volume of the Trans-X container.
Ideally you would want to use a fluid evacuator like an Evacuator Plus to remove or adjust any automotive fluids....well worth the investment!
