If you plug the vacuum line leading to the central lock system and take out the vacuum lock actuators, you can put electric actuators in place. It is a pain to do that due to running the wires through the door jam accordians (not too bad for a 2-door, but you still have the gas lid and trunk to deal with). I would repair the vacuum system and install a keyless entry to operate the driver door and let the current central lock system do the rest. IMO it would be easier than running all the new wires unless you really have leaks in the lines, not just components.
