be aware that steel bolts screwing into aluminum will need about three times the length to develope the holding power of the bolt, in thread,compared to steel, so be sure to put in bolts that use all of the threads available in the aluminum casting. Then use some anti seize so they will come out in ten years when you go to change the water pump again.
