Yesterday I finally got around to changing the transmission and rear end fluid in the 240D to Mobil 1 and wow what a difference it made. The car shifts at the right spot and the 2-3 shift is smooth as butter now. My car did have a much smaller transmission pan than other cars i have seen. Did the 616 use a smaller transmission than the 617?
