Double check the Vin# to be sure it is right. Are you sure it is? Is that a Euro gray market VIN# you posted? Something doesn't look quite right to me about that one, if it is a US spec car..

You have other options available to you, also.

Get a Vehicle Master Inquiry at the Mercedes Benz dealer through a parts dept. guy or a service writer, if you can find one to co operate, and decode the report for you. These MB Net reports are free. All dealers can get them. Just not publicized.

You can call 1-800-FORMERCEDES and ask for a free accounting copy of the Window sticker that was affixed to the car's window when it was in the showroom.

You can write (politely) to the Mercedes Benz Historical Archive in Stuttgart, and send a copy of the title proving the car is yours, and ask them for a copy of the factory build sheet.

Be sure to ask for it to be the one IN ENGLISH! They are 3 or 4 pages long.
Will arrive back in less than a month, normally.
