Hope I can get some sage advice on what this particular car of my interest is worth. I would like to buy it but I think the owner is asking too much.
1981 M-B 240D manual transmission, 117K miles, not driven in snow and salt winters where we live, the paint under the car is excellent, leather upholstery is good, seat padding is good, no rot, no rust , no leaks (rain water or lubricants or fuel) no rattles, new tires, new water pump. Starts immediately, shiny paint, no dings, dents, only a couple of tiny blisters, cruise control works, tach works, orig Becker AM FM radio works,
Bottom line is that it looks like a new car from the showroom floor. So what's it worth?
